Hamilton was one of three puppies in our Decker x Sugar litter! We kept two of the three and it was a hard choice of which one to let go! They are so sweet and utterly devoted to the family. On top of being gorgeous! We can't wait until they mature enough to hit the ring! While Fate and Hamilton are still young now we can help but dream about what they will accomplish!
Hamilton takes the reserved with strangers' part very seriously, however, he doesn't stay reserved long. Once he warms up he will be bumping your hand for pets and looking for love constantly! He is very observant and takes time to adjust once placed in new situations. He won't be a walmart greeter but once he knows you he is the most affectionate and loyal guy there is, always asking for head scratches or a walk. He's playful and fun to have around. Very active and would thrive in a home that would take him hiking and walks often! Give him something to keep his brain active and he is most happy, also enjoys a good chew toy! He enjoys sitting outside on nice afternoons and watching the birds/chickens or wildlife wander around. He will need an experienced dog person who is willing to continue his foundation training and give him time to adjust to his new family life. He's a vocal dude who often talks to us through his whines. While he barks to alert new people, he is more talkative with his family then loud. Happy to discuss with anyone who is interested, we will be very picky on where this special boy goes! Because he's a big puppy he would be suitable for families without kids or older kids he just doesn't realize how big he is and can knock over little ones.
